Our annual holiday party at Highland Brewing's event venue is just a few weeks away. It’s always a great, fun way to end our year.
The FBA will provide light appetizers and a hot buffet dinner (vegetarian and gluten-free options available). This year dinner will be prepared by Barbara Trombatore, who is used to cooking for the masses as Executive Chef of Fairview’s Welcome Table. Barbara has a delicious Italian-themed menu planned. Members are asked to bring a dessert (preferably homemade) for the Sweets table.
Highland’s craft beers and also wine will be available at a cash bar. Chris Rhodes, who has performed at every one of the FBA parties, will DJ some background music through dinner. Beginning at 8 pm, we’re excited to have Fwuit, a talented trio led by singer/songwriter Dulci Ellenberger. Fwuit are all members of the Holy Ghost Tent Revival band.
Ticket price for members is $15, which includes two tickets and two drink tokens for one member and a guest. Additional guests are welcome at $15/person which includes dinner and entertainment and the cash bar. All tickets must be purchased ahead of time.
If you would like to lend a hand this year, please contact Sandie Rhodes at 628-1422 or fba.president@gmail.com. (Anyone who wants to pitch in and help break down will be more than welcome.)
Our 4th quarter charity is The Angels of Fairview. The FBA will make a $200 donation and members are asked to either bring a check payable to Angels of Fairview or some cash to add to our donation impact.
Dress up, it will be festive and don’t forget your dancing shoes.
RSVP to fba.president@gmail.com by November 30th and if you are bringing extra people, include that information in your email.
